Subj: Central Region Trustee Election Results Refer to: Central Region Letter 09-05; April 22,
2005 **** I am humbled and honored to report to you that I was reelected for a second term as Central Region Trustee of the USNA Alumni Association. I thank all of you for you support and want to assure you that I will try to carry out my responsibilities to the best of my ability. The Operating Manual of the Alumni Association states very clearly that “Board members represent all Association members in general, and where appropriate, their defined constituencies (e.g., Regional, Class and Chapter Trustees).” I am your representative, and the Association is your Association. Always feel free to contact me with any input you might have on the Association—I will do my best to be responsive. Once the tellers are complete and report their official count of ballots that information will become available if you are interested.
One final point, IAW the Bylaws and Operating Manual the Regional Trustees met and elected me as the Regional Trustee representative to the Executive Committee by unanimous vote. I will assume that post upon completion of the May 2005 BOT meeting. Once again, I am humbled by this recognition and will redouble my efforts to represent your and all alumni interests properly and effectively.
