The following information covers the new parking plan for all home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. There will be no day parking passes sold for the stadium lot anymore.  Here is the notice that Alumni House has issued regarding the new arrangements.

“The 2003 Navy football season was memorable one as Coach Paul Johnson's Midshipmen captured the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy en route to an 8-5 record and a berth in the EV1.Net Houston Bowl. Increased interest in the team and the newly renovated stadium brought larger crowds flocking to the 45-year-old facility. These factors, along with a new 1.25-mile perimeter walking trail and the preservation of the traditional perimeter tailgating locations, have led the Naval Academy Athletic Association to develop a new parking plan for the 2004 season.
The plan is designed to improve traffic flow in and around the stadium on game days and maximize parking opportunities on site.

·    All parking spaces (3,300) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium will be sold in advance of game day. No cash transactions will take place on game day. This will speed up entry to the lot.
·    Season ticket holders received the first opportunity to purchase season parking passes.
·    Any remaining parking spaces will be sold on a single-game basis, beginning 2 August, by calling 800-US4-NAVY.
·    All persons purchasing advanced parking will be guaranteed a space in the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium parking lot.
·
Germantown Elementary School, adjacent to the stadium, will be utilized as an auxiliary parking lot on game day.
·    Auxiliary parking is also available at the Whitmore, Gott's and Hillman parking garages.
·    Satellite parking will be available and shuttle service provided to the Truman Park and Ride on
Riva Road in Annapolis.

Dramatic improvements have been made to the Stadium site in the last three years as part of its $40M phased renovation. The new parking plan is an attempt to accommodate all Navy fans with their parking needs and allow the USNA to be a better neighbor with the City of
Annapolis and its residents living near the stadium property. The plan has also preserved the long-standing tradition of tailgating at Navy football games. These were major factors taken into consideration while developing the plan.

Alumni, fans and friends are encouraged to call 800-US4-NAVY with any questions concerning this plan or to log onto www.navysports.com for parking maps, directions and updated information.”
