The Fall Meeting of the USNA Alumni Association Board of Trustees will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003. It will be preceded by a day of Standing Committee Meetings.

As your elected Central Region Trustee it is my responsibility to represent your views before the Board. As such, I am requesting that you provide me with any issues, concerns, or items that you believe worthy of consideration by the Board or its Standing Committees. Please relay this information to me no later than October 30 because I must prepare a "Point Paper" for each item that I submit. The Point Paper must be in an "Issue, Discussion, Recommendation" format-hence, I would appreciate if you would try to include those points in your requests to me.

For your information, the Standing Committees will meet on Thursday, December 4th, and include: Governance; House; Communications; Admissions; and, Membership. The Strategy Committee, a very important Committee in my mind, was disbanded recently but this should not deter anyone from submitting strategic issues to me for consideration by the Board of Trustees.

I would prefer feedback by email (Len.Wass@1964.usna.com) because of my business travel, but feel free to telephone me if you prefer. If you call my office please tell Liz the purpose of your call if I happen to be out. Remember, the deadline for feedback is October 30 but that gives almost a month to prepare your thoughts. I appreciate the opportunity to represent you to the Alumni Association.
